Vocals: Shauna Carattini is a singer and pianist who has been making music since she was very young. Her first solo performance was at her kindergarten graduation and she has performed regularly since then. She is a classically trained vocalist and studied opera, jazz, and choral singing at Willamette University where she earned a bachelors’ degree in music. Shauna has performed with many types of ensembles including Consonare Choir, TODA (a voice and piano duo), and served as the lead singer from the Grave Robbers, part of the Tails of Terror LIVE show from 2022-2025. Shauna also loves passing down her knowledge and experience to the next generation of singers and pianists as a teacher at the School of Rock.

Drums: Mak has been playing drums since they were 12. They received a B.A. in Music from Grand Valley State University and have been performing and recording in Michigan since 2014. Mak is a session drummer at Electric Moon Studios, as well as a freelance musician. They’ve toured with bands across the US, performing in clubs like Whisky A Go Go and on cruise ships for Celebrity Cruises. Mak currently teaches drums at School of Rock Grand Rapids and is a content coordinator for AMI Entertainment Network.

Guitar: Jake Deubner is a lifelong musician whose journey kicked off in the late ’90s and early 2000s, tearing up stages with Muskegon rock bands before making the move to Grand Rapids in 2006. With decades of performing and guitar experience under his belt, he now channels that passion into teaching at School of Rock Grand Rapids, where he fuels the next generation of musicians with the same fire, creativity, and dedication that have powered his own musical path.

Guitar and Keys: Matt Waterman is a multi-instrumentalist, record producer, and teacher who has been active in the Michigan music scene since 2008. Growing up in the Lansing Michigan area, Matt started playing shows at Mac's bar and has played across the country with bands such as Jason Alarm, The Devils Cut, Decades, Nonbinay, Nunya and many more. He currently resides in Grand Rapids, recording and mixing records for local artists out of Cold War Studios, teaching at School of Rock, and continuing to release original music along with playing guitar and keyboard in The Untrustables.
